“Whispered” by Scott Sparks

Sometimes all you need is a cool breeze
Intermittent yet persistent to soothingly relieve
Nicely whispered in your ear all relaxed and clear
While you’d swear no one’s around that cares
Sometimes clouds that hover overhead
Keep themselves indistinctly defined by silver linings unsaid
Without warning the storm you swore was imminent
Nothing more than that breeze found to be a prerequisite
Sometimes you may surprise yourself when ruffled by trouble
The limits you thought would finish you
Are increased and tolerance finds room to bubble
Along the way, this sort of fray tears into pieces
Any weaknesses inhibiting the breeze you need
Relaxed and clear; in your ear because someone cares
