“Lincoln…” by Richard F. Yates

lincoln... (2 feb. 2019) by rfy - (peg)

Lincoln waved at the girl who was passing by him on the street. He thought she was a friend who he’d known in high school, but when she turn towards him, he realized she was actually a three headed, slobbering, red eyed fiend—but not Becky.

Becky had been a three headed, slobbering fiend, but she’d had green eyes. Lincoln was embarrassed and apologized—but the three headed, slobbering, red eyed fiend girl, who Lincoln didn’t know, ate him anyway.

The end.
